About E Dwain Porter
Dr. Evan Dwain Porter PhD graduated from the Collage of Charleston and received his Masters and Doctorate degrees from Emory University in Atlanta Georgia. He was a Biology Professor for 30 years. Dr Porter took the Evelyn Wood Reading Dynamics course in 1960. He was in graduate school at the time. He was trained to teach the speed program and taught it on weekends. When Evelyn Woods company was sold, he continued teaching it as a sideline. He has since, modefied and enhanced the program and has several approaches to the reading skill. There are now four programs
1. Double your reading speed in 15 minutes
2. Four week course which increases reading speed 3 to 100+ times. Alsoincludes Relaxation training and programing the mind for the reading skill. This can later be used for any desired goal.
3. Advanced course which addresses different kinds of reading including study reading.
4. An 8 week program covering number 2 and 3 in one course.
